You would like to start baby swimming, but have no idea how? We fully understand this. First, it's a good idea to check with your local indoor pool to see if they offer baby swimming lessons. It is important that a qualified supervisor is always present during the lessons. Once you have found a swimming pool, you can register for the lessons. These usually take place in the morning, but times may vary by pool. On average, swimming lessons last 30 to 45 minutes. Because it is difficult for a baby to regulate his or her body temperature, it is important that the pool has a temperature of at least 32° Celsius. Keep a close eye on your baby's reactions during swimming lessons. If he or she starts to tremble or develop blue lips, this could be a sign that the water is too cold or your child is getting tired.
